The Eleanor and Lou Gehrig MDA/ALS Center, offers comprehensive clinical educational counseling though a multidisciplinary care model. We are one of the largest MDA/ALS Centers in the United States - designated by the Muscular Dystrophy Association as a specialty care center in ALS.

Our Center sees more than 350 new ALS patients each year from the United States and abroad and follows more than 175 patients. We offer a full compliment of professionals necessary to guide patients and families, manage symptoms, and promote the highest level of functioning while living with ALS. This is done primarily through a pro-active education model, a liaison program in which we contact your local community health care providers who assist to increase their understanding of the management and treatment aspects of ALS, and through annual professional conferences on ALS.

Our staff is deeply committed to affecting a change in the outcome of this disease.
