Winston T. Cheng, M.S., CCC-SLP
Winston T. Cheng, M.S., CCC-SLP is the speech-language
pathologist at the ALS Clinic. He evaluates and manages patients who
present with speech and swallowing issues. He also provides evaluation
and training in the use of augmentative/alternative communication devices.
Winston obtained his B.S. in Speech Pathology from the University
of the Philippines-Manila, and his M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology
from Teachers College, Columbia University. He holds the Certificate
of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Prior to joining Columbia University Medical Center in 2000, he worked
as an instructor at the University of the Philippines-Manila’s
undergraduate program in speech pathology. He is presently the Speech
Pathology Section Chief in the Division of Audiology and Speech Pathology
of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. His areas
of special interest include adult dysphagia, voice disorders, laryngectomy,
and neurogenic speech disorders.
