Seth L. Pullman, MD, FRCP(C)
Seth L. Pullman, MD, FRCP(C), supervises all aspects of transcranial magnetic testing to investigate the central nervous system abnormalities of ALS. He has over 15 years research experience in human motor physiology and is proficient in neurophysiologic data acquisition, signal analysis and the use of analog-to-digital systems. He did his neurology residency at The Neurological Institute of McGill University, was chief resident in 1983, and went on to a Medical Staff Fellowship in the Laboratory of Neurophysiology at NIH under Dr. Edward V. Evarts. He is a board certified neurologist and electromyographer. Over the last 12 years, he designed and implemented the Clinical Motor Physiology Laboratory at the Neurological Institute of New York to investigate motor physiology issues at Columbia University. This laboratory is now the only such clinical research facility testing neuromuscular and movement disorder patients in the New York area and has tested over 4,000 patients. Dr. Pullman also co-directs the Center for Movement Disorder Surgery and maintains activity with the Neuromuscular, Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery groups at New York Presbyterian Medical Center.
